The Power of Video
One of the most effective and powerful methods of communication is video. In the real estate industry, we don’t use it near enough. In fact, most are realtors don’t ever use video. Video is also one of the easiest ways to get top 10 rankings in search engines. With today’s current technology in cell phones, it’s even easier for us to get effective video on the Internet.
Some ideas four videos would include:
- Homes for sale
- Neighborhood tours
- Things to do in your city
- Events happening in your area
- Tours of your city
- Real-Estate updates
- And anything else of interest
But the question remains how do we get it onto the Internet and how do we get it so people actually see it?
It’s actually quite simple. The first step is to make sure that you have a video camera or even better yet a cell phone with video capabilities. The next step, is to set up various accounts for uploading your new videos. The largest video distribution point is YouTube, but there are many more that need to be included as well. The more you set up, the more visibility your videos will have. That leads to traffic and potential new leads and customers.
I’ve included a short list of video distribution sites that you’ll want to set up new accounts with. If you have and iPhone or in android phone you will also be able to download applications that make your video presentations faster, easier and up loadable to multiple sites at one time.
